As the Founder & Executive Director of the nonprofit A Beautiful Lady Exploration Center (The ABLE Center), she leads strategic programming, community initiatives, and mentoring efforts designed to uplift women through faith, personal growth, professional development, and creative expression. In her role as owner of Shawn’s Hair N More, Beauty & Business Solutions, she blends hands-on service in haircare with executive oversight—managing operations, client service excellence, talent development, and business strategy. Her leadership ensures that both her for-profit and nonprofit ventures reinforce one another in mission, vision, and impact.
Tishawna is also a Board‑Certified Instructor, Licensed Cosmetologist, Beauty/Business Consultant, Award Winning/Best‑selling Author, and Creative Designer. She is deeply committed to coaching and mentoring others, developing systems and programs that bring clarity, accountability, and sustainable growth. Through her consulting work she assists individuals and businesses with planning, preparation, and execution of vision.
Her leadership is characterized by a foundation of faith, strong core values, and a commitment in legacy building. She combines strategic insight with compassion, helping those she leads to embrace identity, pursue purpose, and make an impact with beauty, grace, knowledge, and confidence. Tishawna is passionate about sharing the love of God through writing, teaching, and mentorship.
